| San Juan Island is the main island located in the "banana belt" serviced by the Washington State Ferry system. The island is known for an average of 247 days of sunshine a year and moderate climate. We welcome our guests to appreciate the scenery of the great northwest, the shorelines, and the waterfront of Puget Sound. Ferry fares are round trip from Anacortes to Friday Harbor. You only pay going west. There is also daily service to/from the Victoria, BC area on Vancouver Island. |
